Despite its position inside an independent volume in a Milanese courtyard, the loft appears very bright for big industrial windows let the sun literally flood the whole space.
The absence of partitions leaves the plan open and free from obstacles to flows and light. Only one little volume characterises a corner: here the bathroom on the ground floor and master bedroom with the closet on the mezzanine level.
This block is all covered in white lacquered wooden plates, which on the mezzanine can be open like jalousies letting air and light inside together with a very peculiar view over the double height.
On the ground floor, colourful pieces of furniture contrast with the white box and walls giving a festive and playful look to the loft. Hundreds of books lie on a huge row metallic bookshelf.
The kitchen, specifically designed by the firm, is made of wooden blocks, some lacquered in white and some in light blue, hanging from a structure made of steel beams.
