The project of this office came under three main lines: the need for a suitable space for professional activity, creating a work environment that represent the image and concepts of the architect, and finally adjusted to a very limited budget.
At the moment of researching technologies and materials that allow a good level of self-construction, the recycling of pallets was the right choice. For its size, strength and aesthetics. The lighting was solved using cans of powdered milk, whose consumption was in charge of the little daughter of the architect. The wall that separates the kitchenette from the rest of the environment, is materialized by a wooden frame (discarded by a local factory) coated by cardboard tubes, recycled from rolls of industrial fabrics.
We chose to show the seated in mud brick in sight recognition of the traditional workforce characteristic of our territory. The floor, made with ancient mosaics, painted with a high resistance epoxy paint. The open floor plan responds to the need for lighting and teamwork, emphasizing the idea of transparency and unity.
