With over 150 art works from Greece, Magna Graecia and Rome, the exhibition, organized for Expo 2015, presents a little-known aspect of the classical world: the representation of nature in its various aspects, the impact of human beings on the natural world and the environment. The works on display come from museums in Italy and abroad, including the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and the Louvre in Paris.
The exhibition will be open until January 10, 2016.
