Neue Sternen Trotte / Wine-Press, Würenlingen
The form and materials are inspired by the image of village barns. The striking gable façade and wide overhanging canopies achieve a distinctive, yet familiar expression. On the entrance façade, formwork made of oiled fir is cut in a way to create star-shaped ornaments at the joints. In the room for sensors beneath the gable, the wine is the focus of attention. The room’s black shell recedes, while the white table provides a stage for the wine.
