Domus 16
Domus 16 is the restoration of a 1920 space on the top of a mall in the city centre of Treviso, in Italy.
The inner courtyard is the centre of the house: a room without ceiling coloured pink, connects visually all the spaces of the house.
Cuts in the existing structure allow inter visibility among the different spaces in a constant flow between the inside and the outside.
An outside shower was physically crafted by the architects with the use of recycled tiles.
The existing plaster textures of the walls have been translated in contemporary furniture through the use of computational tools and fabrication.
