Architectural report
This work refers to the restructure of an existing building and the construction of a new one for the making of residential area for university students.
The existing building is planned as a hotel with single rooms whilst the new building has been developed in apartments, each one for four students.
On the residential floors there are common areas. In Viale Isonzo, as example, there is a first floor with a living room, a study and reading room and a winter garden.
On the second level there is another relax area and on the third floor there is a gallery overlooking the lower floors. These common areas are the main aggregation places for the residents.
In the main entrance at Viale Isonzo 21 there is a porter’s lodge and the security areas.
This project is aimed to guarantee efficiency and comforts at the university compus including both cultural and recreational services as well as the administrative and technological ones.
