20th Street
Embracing city preservation and zoning requirements, this renovation was accomplished sustainably and within a tiny budget. To achieve the clients' wish for more space, we created a vertical extension to house the public functions and grasp sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay.
The new third floor is connected to the garden space in back via a steel catwalk. Sleeping and bathing areas remain on the 2nd floor.
