The extraordinary location of the Sant’Antonio cloister, a masterpiece of the Lombard Renaissance, is the setting for a subtle intervention of renovation.
The size and rhythm of the windows, the quality of the light, the generous height of the space are the main drivers of the project. The original perimeter walls are freed for circulation while the program is condensed in the core of the office space.
The use of simple materials and reflectant and mirrored surfaces enhance the research for a “light” approach, declaring at the same time its contemporary spirit and the blend into the historical building through immateriality.
