Being charged by an architect client, on a 12.5 meters front by 25 meters long site 8 apartments are projected, 2 per floor arranged longitudinally and interrupted by three voids: a central one for services and two lateral ones for terraces that will be covered by climbing plants working as filter in-between public and private spaces.
Access to the building is through a pastel glossy pink painted Boolean in contrast with the black pigmented concrete facade, poured in wooden boxes and modulated every 60x90 centimeters with random perforations that allow a 40% of visibility, light and ventilation. Each apartment has 2 to 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dinning room, 2 parking spaces, storage room and roof garden.
This project appeared on europaconcorsi home page slideshow dedicated to mexican architecture. The series was realized in cooperation with Derek Dellekamp. We thank him for his help, kindness and professional advice.
