Horse Stables In Atacama
Horse Stables and a parking lot,
are opened to shady corridors
around two slightly irregular shaped plazas,
that takes some distance
from the existing hotel.
Broken line walls gently enclosed the plazas
In a trembling sequence of light and shades.
The feeling that the walls belong to the place,
will be improved by the dust that wind carries about,
instead of decay with time.
The concrete roof reinforces
the continuous unprecise form of the walls.
It is dotted with holes that let fine sunbeams
penetrate its penumbra
to see the resting horses inside.
Soft shades of wooden trellis,
and long drinking fountains,
temperate the place,
and keep the rythm
that make the place feel alive.
