In the Urban Plan 12-14 of the Vinex Location of Getsewoud, Nieuw Vennep, the Site Forms the Entrance to This Specific Part of the Newly Build Housing Area. from an Urban Point of View, 24Hs Contributory Plan Accentuated the Opening, Using the Soundwave As Metaphor. This Way, Rows of Housing, With a Variety of Heights, Create the Entrance to the Area to Form a Gate.
One Part of the Assignment Consisted of One Block With 9 Houses for Young People. the Facade of These Youngster Dwellings Contain Horizontal Curved Stripes With Areas of Classical Stretching Bond Brickwork and a Random Bond Brickwork. the Wooden Window Frames Peak out of the Brickwork, Determinating the Facades View.
the Other, Required Two Blocks of Social Housing, Each Containing 18 Apartments. the Facade of These Blocks Is Made of Horizontal Stripes of Glass and Pre Cast Purple Concrete Panels With a Corrugated Texture. the Pattern Was Designed Using Three Dimensional Computer Programs and Later on Sending It to Cnc Spindles, Which Produced the Moulds for the Panels. So It Was Possibile to Realize This Panelling Exactly With Minimum Technical Effort Due to Precise Detailing of 24H.
