Hugo-Junkers-Park
Around the public „Pahlke“ bath the unattended green structure of the park will be converted into a new central green structure, linked to the major connection of the city that runs from the station to the north of the living areas. Two promenades with different functions and own character are connecting the entrances of the park with the bath and the major central lawn.
The north-east direction is offering spaces for relaxation with wooden decks as well as fountains. The fountain fields can be enjoyed by children. Little groups of trees are contributing to the atmosphere with a lively sparkling change of sunny and shadowy parts.
The south-east promenade build of coloured asphalt mastic is including inlays contrasted with different pavements and with numerous offers for children’s play and cross-generational uses. The whole promenade is accompanied by a concrete border with wooden surfaces for lingering. These elements direct the view towards the huge central lawn that is contributing with an open and generous atmosphere.
