Diamond House
The Diamond house combines day and night areas within a single level. The night areas are located at the east end, inviting the elusive morning light.
The day areas are focused on the west and have expansive views over the garden and the evening sunset. Through a series of convex angles and large frame transparencies, the gaze in the living space is ultimately drawn towards the surrounding green scenery on which the new volume seems to float. The facade covered in carved foam plates, mimics a curtain vibrating through the effect of a constant breeze and the incoming sunlight.
