"At the Congresses Palace in Rome during the 49th town-planning and architecture world congress -IFHP- multimedia and interactive installations found their place as an integral part of the building structure to reflect an approach that prefers to read the city through senses. Worldwide architecture and town-planning exponents met in Rome for these four days of meetings and workshops. The new elements offered themselves to the audience senses as they entered the big congress assembly room. Sounds, images, music and pneumatic rooms surrounded the audience. The architecture re-draws the sound, creates listening points, lives the changing urban landscapes." (Alessandra Migani)
