Francesco Cimmino
I was born in Caserta January 31, 1992.
I practiced basketball with great passion and now I teach Minibasket to children.
The studies and other passions then led me on the path of photography: the necessary coincidence was about being an Architecture student and the son of a graphic designer with the passion of photography.
I practiced photography in amateur way for ten years and I have never stopped experimenting, between the analog and the digital, constantly studying the old masters and contemporary ones.
I am convinced that the way of thinking about photography of Cartier-Bresson (the eternity in an instant) and Basilico (slow sight) are almost the same thing: a good photo is the result of an intense connection with the environment, you must know, recognize, identify. Just following three steps: seeing, selecting, shooting.
Francesco Cimmino is a photographer of architecture based in San Nicola la Strada, Italy.
