Gonzalo Viramonte
Gonzalo comes from a city called Marcos Juárez. He grew up there not knowing what was photography.
At 18 he decided to study Economics in Cordoba, Argentina and in a failed act three years later, he finished entering the Faculty of Architecture at the National University of Cordoba, the city where he was born. Today he is an architect, and a couple of years added to his career makes architectural photography.
He never studied photography, but for years is passionate. He decided not trained to describe himself and develop the potential of their vision.
He began photographing landscapes and small towns on their trips by bicycle by Argentina and Chile. Always latent human scale, the city and the detail that each city offered him, decided to start walking with his camera in the city.
Living in Cordoba city many years, he recorded almost the entire city. Their buildings, their customs, but especially the most unexpected spaces, corners encountered during these walks Sunday.
Gradually he developed a concept he calls "specific architecture for common people." Referring to the most inhospitable places or buildings that only architects like.
During 2014 and 2015, he managed to enter the world of publishing, getting some magazine covers that represented Córdoba, within the national and global architecture. With a great interest for the recognition of local, looking at each feeding demonstrate that the use of the human eye, we can enhance and leverage much architectural works.
In 2015 he began his teaching beta, training many photography lovers of architecture, in some public and private institutions such as the National University of Cordoba School of Architects and now also on the floor, Coworking Community.
